The Cactus Reining Classic held its first event in March 2005 at WestWorld of Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Arizona. Since then the attendance and prize money has grown to become #9 on NRHA’s list of top events in 2013. Produced by Brumley Management Group, LLC. and RBB, Inc. The Cactus Reining Classic is the first of three premier west coast reining competitions that have have been dubbed the Triple Crown of Reining.
Produced by Brumley Management Group, LLC. and RBB, Inc. a nonprofit organization, the Reining by the Bay held its first competition in 1999 at the Horse Park at Woodside, Woodside California on the San Francisco Peninsula. Since its conception, attendance and prize money has grown to become #11 on NRHA’s list of top events in 2013. The beautiful surroundings and amazing climate of the San Francisco peninsula is an ideal location to hold such a prestigious event.
The High Roller Reining Classic held its first event at the South Point Event and Equestrian Center, Las Vegas Nevada in September 2008. Since then the growth and popularity has grown to become #4 on NRHA’s list of top events in 2013. With everything under one climate controlled roof and all the fun that Las Vegas has to offer, the South Point Arena, Hotel and Casino offers security, convenience, entertainment and fine dining no other equestrian venue can provide. Over $500,000 in cash and prizes offered in 2014 will be drawing thousands to the South Point.
The West Coast Breeders Select Sale, held during the High Roller Reining Classic ~ Las Vegas, Nevada, will be host to the who’s who of the Reining Horse Industry. The West Coast Breeders Select Sale is an annual equine horse auction dedicated to promoting the offspring of performance horse breeders. This is not just your average horse auction, trainers, breeders and stallion owners will have booths set up to promote their services and those who can assist buyers in their selection process.
The format of the ARBC is very similar to the highly successful and extremely popular NRBC event, and with this program as its template, the ARBC has set its sights on becoming the Arabian Reining version of what the NRBC is to Quarter Horse and Paints. The ARBC has high hopes to follow in the footsteps of the NRBC, creating a viable, successful promotional platform for breeders and showmen.
The Wild Card Reining Challenge is a new event for 2016 located at the South Point Arena and Equestrian Center.
